New function for Apple Devices (Optional)

The functions listed here were added in Lotus Notes Traveler 8.5.1.1 and are not enabled by default. The Lotus Notes Traveler server administrator must explicitly enable these functions for them to become active. Follow the procedures outlined below to enable.

• Meeting attendee invitation actions for Apple devices.

  When this feature is enabled, attendees to meetings will now receive meeting notices on their Apple device and the mobile user will be able to accept, tentatively accept, or decline the meeting invitation. Using the Settings application on the Apple device, the user can enable or disable meeting notice alerts by selecting the Mail, Contacts, Calendars settings and then changing New Invitation Alerts to On or Off.

Two weeks ago I went to Lotusphere in Orlando. I forgot that the electrical connections in the U.S. are different from those of Brazil. I did not find an adapter to connect the charger to my cell phone, left me to improvise with a wire and electrical tape.

Duas semanas atrás eu fui para o Lotusphere em Orlando. Eu esqueci que as conexões elétricas nos EUA são diferentes das do Brasil.
Não encontrei um adaptador para ligar o carregador do meu telefone celular, me restou improvisar com um fio e fita isolante.

Last week I went to Lotusphere 2010. Who has been in the event knows that it is necessary to plan the schedule of activities. The reason is that we have much content to be seen and also much to walk. During the event Instructor Day, I got a pedometer and started counting.
 On average I walked 1967 steps per day. Whereas a step has an average of 85 cm, then walked 1.6 Km per day.

Semana passada eu fui ao Lotusphere 2010. Quem já foi no evento sabe que é necessário planejar o calendário de atividades. O motivo é que temos muito conteúdo para ser visto e também muito que andar. Durante o evento Instructor Day eu ganhei um pedômetro e iniciei a contagem.
Em média eu andei 1967 passos por dia. Considerando que um passo tem em média 85 cm, então andei 1,6 Km por dia. O que da um total de 8 Km para os 5 dias de evento.

Ontem terminou o evento. Muitas novidades e muita coisa para estudar para colocar em prática.
Não tive muito tempo para ficar colocando novidades do evento aqui.
Hoje vou passear por Orlando e conhecer um parque novo. Como eu não tenho muita sorte como turista, hoje está chovendo.

Fiquei em práticamente dois eventos  o BDDay e o Instructor Day. Foi muito bom pois além dos contatos feitos, mostraram muita coisa interessante.
Hoje dia 18/10 é a Sessão de Abertura que é sempre um show.

Fiz boa viagem até Orlando mesmo com o stress da imigração (desta vez foi difícil) achei estranho o pessoal me perguntar tanta coisa.
São 05:30 da manhã aqui em Orlando e está frio. Ontem foi dia de compras. Orlando está cheia de brasileiros e algumas coisas não consegui encontrar no primeiro dia aqui.
Estou indo para o BDDay hoje e também irei participar do Instructor Day.
 Hoje tem muita palestra legal e como sempre fica a dúvida entre uma e outras tantas.

Estou indo para o Lotusphere 2010. Inicio a viagem hoje. Colocarei informações aqui.
